The City of Aiken, SC seeks a Recreation Program Coordinator to join the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, planning, and implementing leisure programs and special events for diverse age groups. Key responsibilities include scheduling facilities, managing contracts, and supervising part-time and seasonal staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:

• Develop and implement leisure programs and special events for various age groups
• Schedule rental facilities and manage related contracts
• Supervise and train part-time and seasonal staff
• Enforce departmental rules and regulations
• Register participants and manage payments

**Requirements**:

• Bachelor's degree in recreation or related field (preferred)
• 4 years related experience or any combination of education and experience
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
