About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with varied diagnoses to determine developmental and/or functional status using standardized measures or clinical observations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating patient and family needs.
  • Administer therapeutic treatment to patients with developmental delay or functional deficits to provide optimal development, function, and independence.
  • Educate patients/parents/caregivers on treatment goals and therapy plan.
  • Document patients' evaluation results, objective status, progress towards goals, treatment plan, and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Ohio License in Speech Pathology.
  • Certification in Speech Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
  • Previous pediatric experience desirable.
