Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to work with students in a school-based setting in Delaware, OH. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current Ohio SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services focused on improving articulation, fluency, language skills, and social communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Ohio SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
