Job Overview

Penny Realty, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to oversee a significant portfolio of residential properties throughout San Diego County. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial goals of our clients are met while providing exceptional service to our tenants.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential property management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 per year, as well as opportunities for growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect rent, pay bills, and manage expenditures to ensure financial goals are met
  • Advertise vacancies, show units, and showcase the advantages of our locations and services to attract new tenants
  • Research local rental rates and calculate costs to ensure pricing is competitive
  • Monitor new prospects and incorporate findings into marketing campaigns to drive company growth
  • Coordinate and manage resident move-in and move-out processes, including application processing
  • Oversee on-site operations and maintain vendor relationships to ensure smooth property management
  • Resolve tenant complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner
Requirements
  • Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills
  • B.A. preferred, High School Diploma required
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse personalities
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Residential Property Management
  • Current California Real Estate License
  • A strong moral and ethical foundation, with integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage properties throughout San Diego County
  • Must have own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided
