About the Job

Hendrick Automotive Group is looking for a skilled Inventory Specialist - Automotive to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced automotive environment, where you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring prompt payment of factory incentives.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an automotive environment, preferably in a high-volume setting. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new software systems are essential for this role.

The estimated salary for this position is $58,000-$68,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and schedules.
  • Record profit from sale of vehicles and verify payments.
  • Post all incentive payments and ensure timely receipt of trade titles.
  • Balances gross profit with manager's monthly front end.
  • Assist bank with floor plan audits and maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
  • Participate in required training and follow safety rules and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
  • At least 6 months to one year related experience and/or training.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to learn dealership management systems, spreadsheet software, and inventory software.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
