Job Overview

Position Summary: Responsible for the precise execution of payroll for various clients. Engages with clients to gather necessary information for payroll processing and addresses tax-related inquiries; verifies payroll totals, resolves client issues, and ensures exceptional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: This document outlines the primary responsibilities and is not intended to restrict management from assigning additional tasks as needed.

  • Manages a portfolio of payroll clients.
  • Proactively contacts clients to collect payroll information, including salary modifications, special payments, tax distributions, and employee deductions.
  • Evaluates, prepares, and inputs payroll information through an automated system to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.
  • Stays informed about payroll processing systems and updates in wage and tax regulations.
  • Maintains comprehensive client records.
  • Effectively addresses client inquiries by thoroughly researching and resolving issues.
  • Builds and sustains positive relationships with clients, agencies, and colleagues to foster a quality service reputation.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma with demonstrated proficiency in data entry, customer service, and problem-solving, or an associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
