Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic individual to support adults with severe and persistent mental illness in a secure residential setting. As a Personal Care Associate, you will work as part of a direct care team to provide life skills development, therapeutic interventions, and daily living support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring
  • Provide emotional support and crisis intervention as needed
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate clinical records
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to client care planning

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in behavioral science or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with adults with mental health needs; experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), or Residential Assistant (RA) a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to pass a DHS background check
