About the Role

As a Senior Engineering Project Manager at Avance Consulting, you will be responsible for leading the execution of multiple New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Technology Introduction (NTI) projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams to achieve project goals within given constraints.
  • Define engineering scope statements and work breakdown structures for projects in collaboration with program managers and stakeholders.
  • Forecast resource requirements for project execution and delivery.
  • Engage with functional organizations to ensure project adequacy.
  • Manage and report on technical performance, project budget, schedule, scope, and risk.
  • Build relationships with support functions across the matrix organization to achieve results.
  • Manage and coordinate internal- or external- driven scope change requests.
  • Support engineering response efforts for customer and internal business and process requests.
  • Recommend creative approaches to meet technical and project requirements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are understood and met.
  • Provide support to program managers in all engineering aspects of external customer interaction, including change liability and cost negotiation, scope, and schedule negotiation.
  • Drive proactive risk mitigation activities to minimize project impacts.
  • Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems.
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data is generated for assigned projects and is consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments.
  • Lead projects in key stakeholder reviews, including internal program or business reviews, and external customer reviews.
  • Streamline engineering processes to cost-effectively execute advanced products.
