We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Quick Hire Staffing. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing physical property testing and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Read and understand customer standardized test method documents
- Perform physical property testing in the corporate polyurethane quality lab
- Maintain and control test data, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Monitor and ensure testing is performed within temperature and humidity control
- Update testing matrix daily to note completed testing
- Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the lab area daily
- Maintain sample and test fixture inventories
- Follow all lab safety practices
- Participate in ISO 16949 & A2LA activities, including audits and proficiency testing
- Participate in Gage R & R studies on lab equipment
- Participate in equipment verification
- Participate in Quality Planning meetings when required
- Be a self-starter, completing all work orders in a timely manner
- Abide by all EH&S requirements
- Comply with company and departmental rules, policies, and practices
- Communicate with team members and supervision on all issues, concerns, updates, etc.
- Associate degree in a related technical area and/or equivalent work experience
- ASQ quality certification considered an asset
- Two to five years of previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Customer quality system experience preferred
- Basic Excel knowledge required
