Your Responsibilities

• Advocate for a safe and healthy environment by adhering to infection control protocols and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

• Facilitate clinic operations by assisting with patient intake, preparing individuals for examinations, and accurately recording vital signs while identifying and reporting any abnormalities.

• Ensure seamless continuity of care and deliver exceptional patient experiences through effective communication and comfort measures.

• Administer prescribed medications and vaccinations, manage medication storage, and ensure proper disposal of expired items.

• Collect and document clinical information, manage electronic medical records, and schedule follow-up appointments as necessary.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold the privacy of health information at all times.

• Educate patients and their families about health resources and care options.

• Collaborate with team members to support each other and enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience as a Clinic Nurse is required.

• Must hold a current nursing license in Louisiana as recognized by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing (RN or LPN).

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is essential.

Work Schedule

• Day shifts available.
