Job Title: Fitness Manager

Are you passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals? Do you have a strong background in fitness and management? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Manager to join our team at Anytime Fitness - Cromwell, CT.

Job Summary:

The Fitness Manager will be responsible for leading our fitness team, developing and implementing fitness programs, and providing exceptional customer service to our members. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to make a real impact on people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the fitness team, including personal trainers and fitness instructors
  • Develop and implement fitness programs, including group fitness classes and personal training sessions
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our members, including fitness consultations and assessments
  • Market and promote personal training services to acquire and retain members
  • Assist in the development and implementation of club programs and events
  • Participate in staff meetings and required activities
  • Act as a role model by leading and promoting a healthy lifestyle
Requirements:
  • Three fitness certifications, including a Certified Personal Training certificate from accrediting bodies such as NASM, NSCA, ACSM, WITS, AFFA, ACE, ISSA, or a bachelors degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
  • Demonstrated progressive success within the fitness environment
  • Previous management experience
