About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Sodexo, a leading provider of food and nutrition services. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing nutritional care to patients in a variety of inpatient units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nutritional care to patients with a range of dietary needs and preferences.
  • Train to assist with nutrition support order writing and perform quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement nutrition education programs for healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of nutrition services.
  • Participate in hospital-wide coverage, including working every 7th weekend.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in Maryland.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
