POSITION SUMMARY:

Park State Bank is in search of a committed Fraud Prevention Analyst to enhance our team and play a vital role in safeguarding our institution and clients from fraudulent activities. The successful candidate will possess a sharp ability to identify irregularities, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to upholding the utmost security standards for our clientele and the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute thorough fraud deterrence strategies
  • Examine and assess transactions for signs of potential fraud
  • Perform detailed investigations into questionable activities
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to synchronize fraud prevention initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Offer training and assistance to staff and clients
  • Remain informed on new fraud trends and suggest enhancements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred 2- or 4-year degree in accounting or business
  • Certification as a Fraud Specialist (CFS) is advantageous
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial services with a focus on fraud prevention
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Capability to work autonomously while maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Standard working hours are typically during regular business times, with occasional evening and weekend commitments required. Some travel for business purposes may be necessary. The employee may also be expected to undertake additional job-related responsibilities as required.
