Radiologic Technologist

As a Radiologic Technologist with Kaiser Permanente, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Under the guidance of a radiologist, you will operate radiographic equipment to capture high-quality images, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiographic equipment, including fluoroscopy, orthopedics, tomography, C-arms, surgery, and portables, to capture high-quality images.
- Evaluate radiographs for technical quality and exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
- Apply principles of radiation protection and provide patient care essential to radiographic procedures.
- Recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiate life support measures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient procedures and imaging results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to ensure optimal patient care.
- Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - Fluoroscopy Certificate (California) within four (4) months of hire
- Radiologic Technologist Certification within four (4) months of hire from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Basic Life Support within four (4) months of hire
- Two (2) year's experience as a staff technologist.
- CRT Mammography certification.
- ARRT Mammography qualification.
