Charge Nurse Cardiovascular ICU RN

We are seeking a skilled Charge Registered Nurse to provide clinical expertise and leadership in our Cardiovascular ICU unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, efficient care for our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and families on medications, treatment instructions, and self-care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
- Lead and support your nursing team during designated shifts, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A Florida Registered Nurse license or compact licensure with active FL RN licensure within 60 days of hire.
- A nursing diploma or ASN degree; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer in designated units.
- PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months of hire/transfer in the Emergency Department.
- CPI training within 3 months of hire/transfer for Behavioral Health.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a critical care environment.
- Critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
