Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Demonstrate experience in general contracting, including various construction methods and systems.
- Manage and occasionally assist with rough carpentry tasks, including:
- Foundation and wall layout
- Deck construction
- Wood blocking
- Frame, door, and window installation
- Hardware installation
- Safety guard rail installation
- Minor concrete formwork
- General labor as required
- Site cleanup and organization
- Installation of miscellaneous accessories
- Minor demolition tasks
- Lead by example when necessary.
- Review construction packages and specifications.
- Monitor and approve budget variances and schedules.
- Authorize weekly invoices and material orders for assigned projects.
- Manage multiple projects and labor teams effectively.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure cleanliness, safety, budget adherence, scheduling, quality, and process compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including timecards, field reports, and correspondence to keep all stakeholders informed.
- Collaborate with local authorities to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
- Coordinate activities of various subcontractors.
- Procure necessary materials and resources to maintain site safety and efficiency.
- Interpret construction plans and specifications, updating as necessary.
- Manage construction schedules effectively.
- Provide intensive support as needed.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs independently.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a construction project coordinator, with at least 5 years in the construction industry.
