Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Engineer to join our team at White-Spunner Construction. The successful candidate will assist the Project Team with the planning and daily execution of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials and maintaining project schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist project management in controlling project budgets, expenses, and owner/subcontractor billings.
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of materials and ensure project schedules are expedited.
  • Participate in preconstruction meetings with subcontractors and attend meetings with Architect/Engineer and owner representatives.
  • Assist with proposal change documents and collect pricing for internal review.
  • Submit owner required close-out documents and assist subcontractors/suppliers in scheduling owner required training and documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Internship(s) or Co-ops with a construction company desired.
  • New hires required to sign up for OSHA courses and complete within six months of employment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions
  • Normal professional office setting with some on-site field work.
  • Evening and/or weekend work, with travel required (less than 50%).
