POSITION SUMMARY
As an Automotive Service Operations Manager at Big O Tires, you will oversee and manage the daily operations of the vehicle service department, aligning with established company objectives to achieve maximum efficiency, operational economy, and profitability by supporting the Store Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Available for work Monday through Saturday, with a designated day off during the week
  • Supervise workflow in the vehicle service department
  • Monitor inventory levels to mitigate shrinkage; order and receive supplies as necessary
  • Prepare repair estimates and communicate with sales personnel
  • Utilize point of sale systems and retrieve information for various applications
  • Review and verify work orders, VIP Checklists, and Vehicle Inspection Forms for accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing service location while performing necessary upkeep
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA and Federal and State Environmental Regulations
  • Order parts and supplies as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in the automotive sector is advantageous
  • Proficient in English; Spanish language skills are a plus
  • Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Effective communication skills with customers and team members
  • Competent computer skills; capable of using company hardware and software
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others
