">About the Position
">This is an excellent opportunity for experienced traffic engineers looking to take on leadership roles in traffic design and analysis. As a Traffic Design and Analysis Lead, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality traffic design tasks and providing technical assistance and guidance to junior engineers.
">You will work closely with project teams to ensure successful project delivery, coordinate with stakeholders, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies.
">Your Key Responsibilities

- Perform professional traffic engineering work related to maintenance of traffic, signage, pavement markings, traffic signals, ITS, and roadway illumination.">
- Prepare plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates for traffic design elements within transportation infrastructure projects.">
- Oversee and assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, surveys, and as-builts for project development.">
- Ensure excellence in overall project delivery.">
- Coordinate, review, and approve traffic design plans, ensuring data integrity and compliance with all applicable best practices, codes, ordinances, and regulations.">
- Train and provide guidance to junior-level engineers on traffic design.">
- Engage in business development activities related to project pursuits and preparing statements of qualifications and proposals.">
About You
">To succeed in this role, you should have:
">- ">
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.">
- 7+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and prior traffic design experience.">
- Proficient and extensive knowledge of traffic engineering principles, practices, process, and design related to traffic control equipment, ITS, related communications systems, and roadway illumination.">
- Experience with leading the development of complete Plans, Specs, and Estimate packages.">
- Well-developed ability to make technical computations and calculations involving the application of engineering principles, understanding plans, and specifications.">
- Excellent communication, technical, and business development skills.">
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.">
- Ability to work independently under general supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.">
- Ability to multitask effectively and lead/manage multiple tasks concurrently.">
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.">
- Demonstrated high-level self-leadership with attention to detail, commitment to quality, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.">
- Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to apply technical knowledge to reach conclusions from testing results, data collation, statistical analysis, and arriving at the most effective, economical, and logical solution.">
