Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a PCT, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care, working under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, as well as educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measure and record patient statistics, observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
  • Build long-term relationships with patients, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
