About the Role: We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Baltimore, MD. As an SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders. You will work closely with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement therapy plans that help students develop the skills needed for academic success and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and evaluations for students to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) to address communication and speech disorders.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or small group settings.
  • Collaborate with Educational Teams: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support students' speech and language development.
  • Document Progress: Document progress and maintain accurate records on student treatment and outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional insight into students' communication needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure or Certification: Current licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland.
  • Pediatric Experience: Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team.
