Senior Design Engineer, Energy and Utilities

Job Summary:The Senior Design Engineer will partner with project stakeholders to design complex improvement projects within the energy and utilities organization. The successful candidate will develop projects from the conceptual phase through design completion in accordance with approved project drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Review client-provided project descriptions to assess scope and design
- Perform project site visits to collect field data that will assist in design development
- Develop design packages for power generation, transmission, and/or distribution projects
- Provide engineering support during and post-construction to ensure all applicable engineering and construction standards have been met
- Maintain high-level quality and responsiveness to client requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of relevant post-education experience providing deliverables related to the planning, design, and construction of electric and/or gas transmission and distribution, electrical substations, and/or other related systems and facilities
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Illinois, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain by comity/reciprocity
