  • Lead the development of the institution's Inclusion and Diversity Policy.
  • Integrate evidence-based inclusive education practices into school policies.
  • Set clear objectives for the implementation of Disability and Inclusion Funding in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with Student Support Services and regional coordinators to enhance support for students.
  • Provide leadership in creating and executing high-quality Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Utilize IEPs to guide classroom adjustments and ensure compliance with educational standards.
  • Enhance staff capacity to implement effective teaching strategies that accommodate diverse learning needs.
  • Lead a team of support staff to optimize assistance for students with additional needs.
  • Contribute to the identification and data collection of students for national assessments.
  • Play an integral role in the College Leadership team, contributing to action plans that align with institutional objectives.
  • Collaborate with educators to implement targeted support for students across various tiers of need.
  • Organize and facilitate Student Support Group meetings and intervention strategies.
  • Oversee the Disability Inclusion Profile processes, ensuring accurate identification and support for eligible students.
  • Manage the transition of students to the Disability Inclusion Profile, including necessary documentation.
  • Deliver professional learning and coaching to staff on inclusive practices and effective modifications.
  • Engage in additional duties as assigned by the principal.
  • It is expected that the successful candidate will also undertake classroom teaching responsibilities.
