Job Summary

Chamberlain University is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Instructor to join our team. As a Clinical Instructor, you will be responsible for implementing the College's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, and profession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver clinical experiences for nursing students, providing direct supervision and evaluation of their performance.
  • Develop and post written clinical assignments that align with students' knowledge base, skill competency, and individual learning needs.
  • Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on their level of performance based on course objectives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs and the College.
  • May teach didactic course content under the supervision of a course coordinator.
Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • An unencumbered professional nursing license in North Carolina.
  • At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse.
  • Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
What We Offer

Chamberlain University offers a competitive compensation package, including a rate of $560 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on the credit hour assigned to the course.
