Job Description

Chamberlain University is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Clinical Faculty to join our team. As a clinical instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.
  • Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads.
  • Plan clinical experiences for and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to an individual or group of individuals.
  • Maintain current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations with the assistance of the agency/clinical personnel.
  • Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with students' knowledge base, skill competency, and individual learning needs.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs and the College.

Qualifications:

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • An unencumbered professional nursing license in North Carolina.
  • At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of pediatrics as a registered nurse.
  • Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation:

The expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment. Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law.
