Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Technician II to join our team at Ladgov Corporation. As a Biomedical Technician II, you will be responsible for performing planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections on patient care and support equipment, ensuring compliance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Manage and schedule service for assigned equipment, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for equipment maintenance and repair, including documentation and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with clinical departments to respond to equipment-related issues and concerns.
  • Research and procure repair parts, working within established budget parameters.
  • Provide training and support to equipment users and Crothall Services Group staff as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement and risk management initiatives to identify and address potential issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to departmental standards.
  • Provide on-call support as needed, ensuring prompt response to equipment-related emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in electronics or biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital environment.
  • Valid driver's license for field service positions requiring travel.
  • Ability to work independently with some supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications for tracking service histories and producing reports.
  • Good trouble-shooting skills and ability to work as a member of a team.
