Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Professional will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive and compassionate care to patients in a correctional environment. This role involves crisis intervention, clinical management of high-acuity behavioral health cases, and provision of group or individual treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis stabilization and complete intakes and ongoing evaluations
  • Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and work collaboratively with the medical team to determine overall treatment for each individual
  • Perform risk assessments of inmates and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
  • Assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives
  • Prepare documentation, records, and reports as necessary
Requirements
  • Master's level degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum one year of employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent
  • Satisfactory background investigation report
