Job Opportunity at Akoya Behavioral Health

Akoya Behavioral Health is a leading organization dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, utilizing the principles of ABA to promote skill development and independence.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans, collecting data and monitoring progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Manage challenging behaviors through effective intervention strategies, maintaining a safe and respectful environment at all times.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, fostering collaborative relationships and ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Remain open to learning new skills and methodologies, embracing a growth mindset to enhance the learning experience.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or higher.
  • Preferably a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as child development, psychology, or early education.
  • RBT certification in good standing (preferred).
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Passion for working with children and families.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check.
