Position Summary:


The SAP Supply Chain Specialist will play a crucial role in the implementation and enhancement of SAP modules, specifically focusing on Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Warehouse Management (WM), and Plant Maintenance (PM).

This role involves configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP systems to improve operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement, while collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization.

The SAP Supply Chain Specialist is essential in our pursuit of operational excellence, aiming to streamline processes and enhance productivity.


Key Responsibilities:


- Analyze business needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, configure, and implement solutions using Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) and Fiori in MM, PP, WM, and PM.
- Review and enhance supply chain processes through SAP, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing best practices to optimize material flow, production planning, quality control, warehouse operations, and plant maintenance.
- Assist in SAP system implementation projects, ensuring successful deployment and integration of relevant modules.
- Communicate project statuses, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring timely task completion.
- Provide training and support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth system operation.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material management, production planning, quality control, warehouse efficiency, and plant maintenance.
- Facilitate training sessions for end-users on effective use of Production Planning, WM, QM, and PM functionalities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, changes, training materials, functional specifications, and user guides for SAP modules in the supply chain domain.
- Enhance and maintain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) connections with external partners for seamless data exchange.
- Lead and execute the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
- Stay informed on SAP technology advancements and industry trends, advocating for innovative solutions that provide a competitive edge.
- Ensure SAP systems comply with data security and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary controls.


Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate complex requirements into SAP solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of integration points between SAP modules.
- Advanced project management skills to handle multiple priorities and timelines for enterprise-wide implementation projects.
- Experience in managing EDI processes, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Thorough understanding of other SAP modules, including finance, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and warehouse management.
- Prior experience in designing, managing, and configuring interfaces within SAP utilizing MM, PP, QM, WM, and PM modules, with the ability to support business users.
- Ability to collaborate with other SAP functional consultants for seamless integration between various SAP modules.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.) and SAP or other ERP systems.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience with SAP modules including MM, PP, QM, WM, and PM is required.
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications and user experience enhancements in SAP S/4Hana.
- Strong experience in SAP MM, PP, QM, PM configuration, including master data, production orders, work centers, bill of materials (BOM), routing, shop-floor controls, quality inspection plans, maintenance plans, and notifications.
- Previous work experience in sectors such as Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, or Retail.
- Certifications in SAP or SAP S/4Hana related to the specified modules are desirable.
- Proven track record of optimizing logistics and supply chain operations.

Working Environment:
- Work is conducted in an office setting equipped with telephones, personal computers, and printers.
- The noise level is typically moderate.
- This is a sedentary position with occasional lifting of less than 10 pounds.
- May require standing for less than or equal to 1/3 of the day.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
