Job Description

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of equipment and materials to our customers, both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Logistics Operations: Organize and manage domestic and international shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and documentation.
  • Communication: Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to secure cost-effective and efficient transportation solutions.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant global regulations and standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery schedules.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and resolve issues.
  • Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Skills: Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, strong communication and negotiation skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • International Experience: Experience with international shipping and customs regulations.
  • ERP Systems: Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
