Position Objective

The Logistics Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the maintenance team by overseeing the inventory of aircraft components and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage inventory levels of aircraft parts, tools, and consumables.
  2. Ensure precise inventory control.
  3. Maintain necessary FAA documentation for aircraft components.
  4. Conduct monthly and quarterly inspections of aircraft parts.
  5. Order parts, tools, consumables, and supplies for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
  6. Guarantee compliance with tooling calibration and certification standards.
  7. Handle shipping and receiving of aircraft components.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Office suite.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Experience in parts management is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to engage in prolonged periods of walking, pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, sitting, and standing.
  • Capability to climb to various heights.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

  • Varies by location - indoor/outdoor aircraft hangar or workshop with potential exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Possible exposure to hazardous materials.

Work Schedule & Travel

  • Full-time position.
  • Standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • On-call availability after hours and on weekends as needed.
  • Local travel to various bases may be required, approximately 25% of the time.
