Position Overview
As a Lead Cost Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our operations by:

  • Conducting comprehensive cost estimations for various projects, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial forecasting.
  • Assisting in the preparation of detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior estimators and team members.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to established timelines.
  • Utilizing current market data and techniques to prepare precise cost estimates.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for cost analysis.
  • Performing quantity takeoffs from design documents and customizing estimation forms.
  • Calculating and documenting assumptions and methodologies used in cost estimations.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Participating in training and development initiatives for team members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management or Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in cost estimation or a related area.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimation software.
  • Strong understanding of construction and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A commitment to contributing positively to our collaborative culture.
