Position Overview:

As a vital member of the Viva Eve team, the Customer Care Specialist acts as the primary point of contact for our patients. Work Environment:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, with shifts available from 8 AM to 4 PM or 11 AM to 7 PM. Flexibility in availability is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist new patients with necessary forms and inquiries before their initial visit.
  • Reach out to patients who have missed or canceled appointments.
  • Address and resolve any questions or concerns from new patients.
  • Manage incoming calls from prospective patients and serve as the main contact for business-related inquiries.
  • Support the scheduling of appointments for new patients.
  • Provide information to new patients regarding our services, insurance options, operational hours, and other relevant details.
  • Promptly follow up with incoming leads.
  • Engage with patients in a courteous and professional manner over the phone.
  • Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Salesforce effectively to document patient information.
  • Collaborate with our team and insurance providers to secure authorizations and verify coverage.
  • Record patient referrals in our EMR and CRM systems.
  • Perform general clerical duties while maintaining the highest level of professionalism with confidential information.
  • Consistently adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, inside sales, patient services, or related fields.
  • A diploma from a college or junior college, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills across diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and prior experience in insurance verification is advantageous.
  • Bilingual skills and experience with CRM systems are beneficial.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Adaptable and willing to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $18-$22 per hour.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including PTO, 401(k), Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, and Pre-tax Commuter benefits.
