Job Summary

Lazarus Naturals is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all vendor and internal customer emails, invoice entry, and recording of all transactions associated with purchases from external vendors and internal customer purchases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and answer the shared AP email box
  • Process vendor invoices and record transactions in Procurement Express
  • Research and respond to customer inquiries and issues
  • Customer account reconciliations
  • W9 and vendor forms
  • Weekly AP aging report
  • General ledger postings, 1099 filing
  • Quickbooks Enterprise entries, reporting, and statements
  • Other tasks as deemed necessary by management, including assisting with other functions of the Accounting department
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounts payable/receivable, credit/collections, or book-keeping role
  • Degree in Business or Accounting (preferred)
  • Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to explain and train concepts and processes to others
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities; strong attention to detail; process improvement mindset
  • Outstanding computer and keyboard skills. Knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite products
  • Knowledge of automated accounting software – QuickBooks (mandatory), Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP software (desired)
  • Intellectual curiosity – the desire to learn and grow
  • Team player. Willing to help others and assist when and where needed
