Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Therapist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a Chemical Dependency Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing individual, family, and group sessions for clients struggling with substance abuse and dependency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct chemical dependency assessments and evaluations, including biopsychosocial assessments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, discharge plans, and provide ongoing support to clients.
  • Establish and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.
  • Provide educational lectures on substance abuse and prevention to clients and their families.
  • Keep accurate and detailed clinical records, including assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a Human Services field or equivalent experience.
  • Licensure as a mental health practitioner, such as PLMHP/LMHP or PLADC/LADC.
  • Dual licensure is preferred.
