Job Title: Private Duty Nurse RN

Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage patient care plans in accordance with physician orders and Aveanna Healthcare policies
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop comprehensive care plans to address their physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with Aveanna Healthcare policies
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • One year of experience in home health or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
