A technical professional is needed to provide support for staff, students, and student families in the Fresno area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing technical projects, developing and implementing solutions, and providing direct technical support via various channels.
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about common computer software, hardware, and networking setups. They will be able to troubleshoot common issues with hardware and software, research and learn about unfamiliar issues, and work independently managing daily tasks.
The role requires excellent communication skills to support users, collaborate with other IT staff, and work with management. Experience with data analysis, scripting, or programming is a plus.
Key Responsibilities- Manage email, chat, phone calls/messages, and helpdesk tickets.
- Troubleshoot and service common computer, network, and printer issues.
- Provide in-person technical support for office staff.
- Assign devices to users and maintain inventory of tech assets.
- Track equipment orders, returns, and RMA's.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve technical issues and design tech solutions.
- Proficiency in Windows 10, ChromeOS, and iOS.
- Understanding of computer networking, including IP addresses, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, and network equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting network issues with Wi-Fi or network printers.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Associates degree or tech certifications preferred.
