Job Summary

As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing environment that fosters the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of young children.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
  • Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis and provide individualized support.
  • Provide a safe and engaging environment that encourages children to explore, create, and learn through purposeful play.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Maintain a well-organized and attractive classroom that promotes learning and creativity.
Requirements
  • Meet the basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agencies.
  • Previous experience in a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
