Position Overview:
The Restaurant Server plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. This position involves efficiently managing guest orders, ensuring timely delivery, and processing payments with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a friendly, attentive, and helpful demeanor towards guests, management, and fellow team members.
  • Understand the layout and operations of the restaurant, lounges, and room service.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items and daily specials.
  • Provide attentive service to guests, fulfilling all food and beverage requests.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness by clearing tables and managing soiled dishes.
  • Utilize the Point of Sale (P.O.S) system effectively.
  • Handle cash and prepare end-of-shift financial documentation.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as per assigned checklist.
  • Ensure that dining areas are well-stocked and orderly.
  • Keep beverages replenished for guests throughout their dining experience.
  • Manage the breakdown of soiled items in accordance with established procedures.
  • Answer phone inquiries professionally.
  • Promote food, beverage, and special offers to enhance guest experience.
  • Be knowledgeable about safety equipment and procedures.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive service.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work long hours as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Proficient in navigating the dining area while carrying trays.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening skills to address guest and employee concerns.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards.
  • Commitment to safety and operational standards.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various roles within the resort.
  • Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to guest service.
  • Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
