Position Overview
The RN staff nurse is responsible for delivering direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role involves collaborating with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate treatment plans.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure in Texas or a compact state.
- BCLS and ACLS certifications.
Education and Experience
- Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Critical Care and Med-Surg or Telemetry (1-2 years).
- TNCC and CCRN certifications.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Basic English with the ability to transcribe physician's orders.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Capable of lifting over 100 pounds with assistance.
