About the Role
Del Sol Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessing and evaluating patient needs, and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
- BCLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience, preferably in a Progressive Care or ICU setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
