Kaiser Permanente is in search of a Radiology Technologist Level II to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to assist in patient care.

Key Duties:
Under the supervision of the Imaging Services Director and Chief of Diagnostic Imaging, the technologist will:
- Conduct specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate concerns and ensure cooperation.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
- Utilize immobilization devices to achieve optimal imaging results as per physician requests.
- Determine exposure factors based on patient specifics and imaging requirements.
- Position imaging equipment accurately to capture high-quality images.
- Operate mobile radiologic equipment in various settings as needed.
- Assist radiologists during fluoroscopic and specialized x-ray examinations.
- Prepare images for review by radiologists or requesting physicians.
- Process and verify images for quality and identification.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment.
- Implement radiation protection measures to safeguard patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of imaging procedures.
- Provide orientation and training for new staff and students.
- Fulfill additional related responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - Venipuncture Certificate (California).
- Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California).
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - Fluoroscopy Certificate (California).
- Basic Life Support Certification.
Additional Skills:
- California Mammography Certificate (if applicable).
- Ability to perform general diagnostic and fluoroscopic duties as required.
- Effective communication skills for presenting information clearly.
- Willingness to work within a Labor Management Partnership environment.
