Job Title: Radiology Technologist Level II

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Level II to join our team in Sacramento, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist Level II to perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Competently perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
  • May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping orient other staff to the department.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • CA CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the affiliate.
  • 2 years recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

This is a per diem/casual position with variable shifts, including evenings and rotating weekends.

Benefits:

No benefits are offered for this position.

Pay Range:

$51.97 to $64.94 per hour.

This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.

Compensation takes into account several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, and certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs.
