Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologists to enhance our specialized procedures team.

We offer comprehensive training due to the current national shortage of qualified Interventional Radiologic Technologists. Our team is committed to professional growth and competitive compensation, with pay rates up to $56.26 per hour based on experience, along with shift differentials and bonuses.

Work Schedule: Day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating on-call responsibilities as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Produce high-quality diagnostic images while verifying physician orders and entering patient information.
  2. Assist and scrub with radiologists, adhering to universal safety precautions.
  3. Communicate procedures clearly to patients and address any inquiries.
  4. Administer and document isotope dosages in line with departmental protocols.
  5. Monitor patients during procedures, reporting any irregularities and ensuring radiation safety.
  6. Manage inventory and order necessary supplies, maintaining daily stock levels.
  7. Accurately document patient accounts and schedule interventional procedures.
  8. Ensure optimal radiographic quality for precise diagnoses, confirming proper film identification.
  9. Complete all continuing medical education tasks prior to case dictation.
  10. Adhere to compliance requirements associated with the role.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required: Minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Preferred: BLS and ACLS certifications.

Working Conditions:

Manual dexterity and significant physical effort are required, with the ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force. The role may involve exposure to various environmental factors.
