  • Install, maintain, and repair piping systems, including welding, threading, and cutting pipes
  • Read and interpret piping isometric drawings and piping & instrument diagrams
  • Plan and execute work efficiently, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project deadlines
  • Prepare weld joints to meet project codes and standards
  • Thread pipes using a threading machine
  • Read and comprehend support details/drawings
  • Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials and work pieces during installation
  • Clean and perform minor maintenance activities on tools and equipment
  • Work safely at heights and traverse uneven terrain with tools and building materials
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and understand the use of personal fall arrest systems

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial construction as a journeyman pipefitter
  • Basic rigging skills
  • Proficient in the use of small power tools (e.g., die grinder, right angle grinder)
  • Ability to read and comprehend piping isometric drawings
  • Ability to read piping & instrument diagrams (preferred)
  • 3+ years' experience in the testing and commissioning of piping systems
