Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at the Prevention and Recovery Center. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laundry and Linen Management: Conduct and maintain the laundry for bedding materials and bathing towels, ensuring they are clean and hygienic.
  • Safety and Infection Control: Inspect and report all safety hazards and infection control issues to the supervisor, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Housekeeping and Sanitation: Ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of all areas of the facility, including the kitchen and restrooms, adhering to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate daily housekeeping services with the nursing department, performing routine cleaning assignments in inpatient living and/or recreational areas.
  • Trash and Waste Management: Transport trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Room Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and corridors, maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Cooperate with other personnel to achieve departmental objectives, maintain good employee relations, and interdepartmental objectives.
Requirements
  • Age and Education: Must be 18 years or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of similar experience in a residential facility.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, with basic computer knowledge.
