Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing direct psychological services at NMBHI. The incumbent will evaluate patients utilizing psychological assessment tools for determining proper diagnosis, treatment needs and recommendations, need for hospitalization, response to treatment and prognosis.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients utilizing psychological assessment tools
• Determine proper diagnosis, treatment needs and recommendations
• Assess need for hospitalization, response to treatment and prognosis

Requirements

• Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Psychologist Examiners or eligible to receive licensure within one year of hire
• Three (3) years of experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification

Working Conditions

This position will perform work primarily in an office setting with extensive computer and phone usage and exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal. Lifting up to thirty (30) pounds may be required. The New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute is a 100% Tobacco Free/E-Cigarette Free Campus. Work hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday thru Friday.
