Job Description

Project Manager

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to balance office and remote work. You'll spend three days a week in the office, giving you the flexibility to work from home for two days.

This position involves managing the execution of multiple transmission, substation, and distribution projects. You'll coordinate with internal and external departments to oversee the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project execution, contract administration, planning, and resource allocation
  • Take ownership of project performance, including safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client experience throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead and direct project teams to ensure accountability, mentor, and coach team members
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with client functional leads and stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, satisfactorily, on time, and within budget
  • Support the reporting of key performance indicators for schedule, budget, and other dashboard items
  • Identify and control construction risks
  • Recognize, identify, track, and control changes
  • Communicate and consult with stakeholders and supervisors
  • Prepare reports that present project information clearly and concisely, meeting client requirements
  • Analyze issues and provide solutions to improve results
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

  • BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program or a management/business degree
  • 5+ years of experience in project management of utility, construction, engineering, or other technical projects
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team setting
