Key Responsibilities- Engage with patients to build trust and assess their physical, psychosocial, and emotional condition during regular nursing visits.
- Adapt communication style to each individual and circumstance to provide a supportive atmosphere that protects patient dignity.
- Take the lead on managing each patient's journey through their specific illness, ensuring patients and families understand each step.
- Work collaboratively with the team and patients/caregivers to establish goals of care and ensure regular updates on progress.
- Regularly incorporate changes in condition to the rest of the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of service and care.
- Follow nursing standards of practice and meet or exceed HOC quality goals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients and families.
