Contribute to Patient Care
The Pediatric Care Administrative Specialist collaborates closely with healthcare providers and clinical teams to address the administrative needs of our patients. This position is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the exemplary service and attention they deserve from the moment they arrive at our facility. Responsibilities include managing patient check-ins for appointments, processing payments, handling phone inquiries, accurately relaying messages, scheduling appointments, facilitating patient check-outs, coordinating referrals, and verifying insurance coverage. This role also involves utilizing our electronic health record system to confirm and update patient demographic details, as well as managing the posting and reconciliation of collected payments.

Candidates for this role should possess excellent listening and communication abilities, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong multitasking capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective organizational skills, while also being a collaborative team member. Maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment are essential.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting or a minimum of two years in customer service is required.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Experience with electronic health records is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with intranet and internet applications, Excel, Word, and email, are necessary.
